Hey!

Sooooooo, I haven't posted here in a while. But don't worry, three people who read my blog! Something big is in the works, something HUGE! It'll be up there with DeMille in terms of scale. Don't worry about where I've been gone, just keep living yours, kay? Kay.

IT'S DONE!

Finally!

All edits have been applied, all effects have been added. Everything for Max Marriner's "The Four" is done. All that's left is showing it to the public, which will be at The 2011 Las Lomas Film Festival, June 1st and 2nd from 7-9 PM. I hope to see you all (three of you) there.

It's Almost Time...

After months of writer's block and laziness, M2 Motion Pictures's next film will be getting it's shooting in in less than a week. I'm excited, but at the same time I'm also extremely nervous. I don't have all of my actors or props just yet, and I've got a very busy week ahead of me, getting in less time to focus on the project. This is going to be one crazy week.

"Once More, With Feeling" is Up!

Finally. After a loooooong upload on Vimeo, M2 Motion Pictures's first film is finally available to watch in all its HD glory. The full description:

"San Franciscan acting hopeful James 'Kilo' Rolfe (Jason Zavaleta) isn't in the most content position. After six failed auditions with the local performing arts associations, James has lost almost all hope in his abilities as an actor. Recently, he's been given a seventh shot at making the big time. As he prepares for audition no. 7, members of his family and friends look back at Kilo's life and how much of an impact he's made in their lives.

This is the first film under M2 Motion Pictures, an amateur production company centered in the San Francisco Bay Area. It debuted on June 2nd, 2010 during the 2010 Las Lomas Film Festival. As the founder and president of M2 Motion Pictures, I sincerely hope you enjoy.

Directed by Max Marriner
Edited by Josh Jalil
Starring Jason Zavaleta, Dylan Drovdal, Shane Labowitz (among others)"

The Progress Bar's Just About Full...

Oh man, I am excited. We are just about finished on writing M2's next motion picture, which will debut at the 2011 Las Lomas Film Festival in mid-May.

The atmosphere is completely new to the M2 filmography. It'll be dark, cold, somber, etc., and I simply can't wait to start filming it in mid-March. I've got my lead, and now I'm looking for some more potential Gable's and Hanks's to fill the supporting cast.

And, I know what you're thinking: "When will other videos created by M2 be available for my viewing pleasure?" Well my friend, sit tight. Expect the first film under the M2 moniker to be available to the Internet very, very, very shortly.

A Little History...

Welcome. I'm glad you could join us on this wondrous blog post.

For those of you who are wondering, the person who is currently writing and running this blog is Max Marriner, the founder and president of M2 Motion Pictures. Founded in May 2010 in the San Francisco bay area, M2 Motion Pictures's main matter of existence is to make Max Marriner look more official and mature  to provide its "creator" (of sorts) an opportunity to sell himself out to continue to make films under a monicker that doesn't indirectly title his works as under one man.

Currently, M2 produces films specifically for the annual Las Lomas Film Festivals that are held at the titular high school. One film has been made under the company's name and logo, and that is to expand ten-fold this year.

Stepping out of the third-person perspective, I'm very proud to know that M2 is growing into a full-fledged company this year, and I'm anticipating the coming events on our calendar.

Sincerely,
Max Marriner
Founder and President of M2 Motion Pictures
